A thought for today...

The name "October Grapes" comes from the sweet surprise of finding a bunch of grapes still hanging on the vine behind my house, months after harvest. The extra time in the sun makes them like drops of honey. I often don't spot them until after the leaves begin to fall. They represent my lessons learned—be they spiritual, domestic, or hilarious—the unexpected fruit that God brings through time with the Son and through the changing of seasons in my life.
If you know me personally, then you can see I'm using a pen name. That's only to protect my family's privacy. Everything else you read here is 100% real and 100% me!
